Blackjack Super 7's

This game is the original Blackjack with an additional Super Sevens side bet. The objective of the game is to beat the dealer´s hand without going over 21 (bust). In the Super Sevens side bet, the objective is to receive sevens of the same suit. At the start of the game, you and the dealer are dealt two cards each. If you have 21 on the first two cards, you have BLACKJACK!

How to Play

Use your left mouse button to click on the value of the chip that you wish to wager. Then click in the desired betting area. You may play up to three hands in each round, occupying up to three seats at the table. You can remove a wagered chip before the game begins by clicking on it with your right mouse button. When you have placed your bets, click the DEAL button to start the game round. Click SAME BET to repeat the bet from the previous round.

Betting Rules

Cards are worth their face value with the exception of Kings, Queens, and Jacks which are each worth 10 and Aces which are worth either 1 or 11. If the value of your hand is closer to 21 than that of the dealer you win. If the value of the dealer´s hand is higher than yours you lose. If the hands are of equal value the hand results in a push and your bet is returned. If you have a total of 22 or higher (a busted hand), you lose regardless of whether the dealer also busts. Six decks of cards are used, which are shuffled after each round.

Split

If your first two cards are of the same value, you may split them into two separate hands. The second wager is placed automatically when you click the SPLIT button and the second wager equals the first one. You may then proceed to draw cards as usual. However, if two Aces are split, you will only get one additional card for each hand. If two Aces or two ten value cards are split and one of your hands totals 21, the hand is not considered as blackjack, but as 21. You may not split a split hand. You may double after splitting.

Double Down

When you have been dealt the initial two cards you may "double down". The wager is doubled, and only one card is received.

Insurance

Insurance is a game of its own within Blackjack, which gives you a chance to protect yourself from the dealer getting blackjack. If the dealer’s first card is an ace, insurance against dealer blackjack can be bought for half the price of the initial bet. If the dealer does have blackjack, the insurance pays 2 to 1. If insurance is bought and the dealer does not have blackjack, the insurance bet is lost.

Rules for the Dealer

The dealer must draw cards until he has at least 17, and must stand on 17 or higher. If the dealer gets 16, he must take another card. The dealer may not decide whether or not to draw a card based on your hand, but must abide by existing dealer rules. The dealer checks for blackjack on an open Ace or ten value card.

Side Bet Rules

The Super Sevens side bet is a side bet to the original Blackjack. As mentioned previously, the objective is to receive sevens of the same suit. Chips for the side bet is placed in the betting area marked Super 7, but you cannot place a side bet without first placing a blackjack bet. You win on the side bet regardless if you win or loose on your blackjack hand.
